Track and field program is designed to be a program to teach the basic skills of track and field. The program includes practices as well as at least three track meets. The track and field program will compete against other programs from other city recreation departments so some travel with this program is required.
A parent meeting will be held before the season begins. Because of the nature of track and field parents and athletes are responsible to know how practices and meets are to be conducted.

📍 Location: The Big Pavilion at Cory Wride Park
CROSS COUNTRY: The Cross Country program is for boys and girls ages 7-15 (Birth Year 2008-2016). The program is designed to offer skills and condition training in a cooperative environment. Throughout the season, participants will have the opportunity to participate in meet distances ranging from 1k to 4k. The meets will be held on Monday nights at various locations throughout Utah County (Salem to Eagle Mountain) starting August 28th and going through October 9th. The Regional Invitational will be a 3k.
PRACTICES: (@ Cory Wride Memorial Park) Cross Country practices will be held on Wednesdays starting on August 16th. Practices will be held from 6:00pm-7:00pm at Cory Wride Memorial Park.
PARENTS MEETING: The parent/participant meeting will be held on the first day of practice, August 16, 2023 @ 5:30pm. Informational email will be sent out prior to this date.
PROGRAM INCLUDES: This program includes practices and meets (cross country meets will be held at other locations in the county). Participants receive a team t-shirt. Parents must provide transportation to all meets. Shirt sizes may run big.

The pickleball adult doubles league is made up of two divisions: Recreational and Intermediate/Advanced. The Pickleball league runs from Early May to mid-June with starting times at 6:00 PM on Wednesdays. Cost is $50 per team, 10 teams minimum for the league to run. League plays at the Cory B. Wride Memorial Park. This is a fantastic opportunity to get to know the rules, develop your skills, and enjoy the thrill of competition. More information may be found on the registration website.
