Eagle Mountain City is following guidelines for the high transmission level of COVID-19 on the state index. City offices are open to the public regular hours (7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday), however, masks are required in city buildings, and social distancing measures are in place. If you do not have a mask, one can be provided for you. The Senior Center activities are cancelled until further notice. The resources below will help you to know when your garbage will be collected. Recycling cans are picked up every other week. If a scheduled collection day falls on one of the following holidays or the day after, collection will be delayed by one day: Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day. For billing questions, to add or remove trash or recycling cans, or replace damaged containers, please contact Eagle Mountain City at 801-789-6609 for the necessary forms. Timpanogos Special Service District (TSSD) green waste/compost will re-open March 4, 2020. TSSD is selling compost by appointment only until March 4.

TSSD is located in Utah County at 6400 N. 5050 West. This is near, but not in, American Fork. Take Exit 275 from I-15. Drive west approximately 1/2 mile. After you cross the railroad tracks their facility is on the left.
Hours are: Wednesday – Friday 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Ace Disposal offers Eagle Mountain residents a curbside recycling program.
The recycling can is full-sized and is billed at the rate of $5 monthly, compared to the rate of $6.25 for a second regular can. The recycling can may be used for all recyclable materials except glass (please see link below, or watch this video for information on acceptable materials).
The recycling can is picked up on a bi-weekly schedule on your regular garbage pick-up day.
