Focused on the City’s future, planning balances socioeconomic forces, natural resources, property rights, and public input to promote sound and orderly development throughout Eagle Mountain. Planning ensures that the decisions we make today will result in a viable and healthy future for our city.
Titles 16 & 17 of the City Code regulate growth and development within the City in accordance with the General Plan and provide for the efficient and orderly growth of the City. These titles contain standards for subdivisions, zoning, open space, site design/planning, parking, signs, and fencing, among others. Here are some quick references to some of the most-accessed codes.
Some of the standards and provisions found within the Development Code require specific applications to initiate the process. Please see the following applications for further information concerning the various procedures. For more information regarding applications concerning land development, etc., see Development Process and Applications.
