Engineering a City

The Engineering Department coordinates the design of city streets, transportation, storm drains, culinary water, streetlights, and other projects. As Eagle Mountain City rapidly grows, it is the Engineering Department’s responsibility to ensure that infrastructure and development is appropriately planned for, constructed and installed, and meets all safety standards. Inspections are handled by the building department.

Mapping Eagle Mountain

The Mapping/GIS division provides digital maps, information and services to residents and City staff in Eagle Mountain. Mapping/GIS ensures that all changes to land use, subdivisions, annexations, etc. are visually reflected in all city maps.

Eagle Mountain City also gathers imagery that is more frequent than what major mapping services provide. So if you are a business owner, developer, or anyone in need of more recent imagery, please reach out to see if we can assist.
