Eagle Mountain City, as part of Utah County, is at the High Level of Transmission on the state’s COVID-19 index. City offices are open to the public regular hours (7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday). The Senior Center will host a limited number of activities as announced until further notice. Masks are required while visiting city buildings. If you do not have one, we can provide one for you. Social distancing measures are in place. PED is Eagle Mountain City’s annual festival, celebrating our community and its historical ties to the Pony Express Trail. It is usually held from Memorial Day weekend through the week following – a great way to start the summer.
Pony Express Days Events 2020 is cancelled due to restrictions related to COVID-19. Residents are invited to participate in our Pony Express Days at Home activities May 22-30.
The Pony Express Days festival is full of exciting events for the whole family. Visit the carnival where you will find rides for all ages, great food, and challenging games with prizes. The Grand Parade brings the community together as it runs along Pony Express Parkway, featuring floats, bands, horses and candy tossing. This tradition is not to be missed. Enjoy the action at the Rodeo and Demolition Derby, managed by Pony Express Events. Enjoy these and many other family-oriented PED events. The Pony Express 5K is sponsored by the Cupcake Charity. Each year the Cupcake Charity donates proceeds from the Pony Express 5K to someone in need due to medical or other hardship in Eagle Mountain in the form of bill payment. Recipients are chosen from community nominations.
