Garbage Routes and Maps

The resources below will help you to know when your garbage will be collected. Recycling cans are picked up every other week. If a scheduled collection day falls on one of the following holidays or the day after, collection will be delayed by one day: Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day. To add or remove trash or recycling cans, or replace damaged containers, please complete the Garbage and Recycling Change Form below. For billing questions, please email the Utility department at utilitybilling@emcity.org or call 801-789-6609. For all other customer service questions, please contact Ace Disposal at 801-229-1577, Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. If you are moving out of your property, you only need to complete the Utility Termination Request found here.

Garbage Collection Guidelines

  • Cans need to be at least 3-4 feet apart from other containers.
  • Please do not overload cans. Consistently overloading cans will result in the need of a second container. Your container will be tagged informing you if this is an issue.
  • Please do not stack waste around the can. Your container will be tagged informing you if this is an issue.
  • Unacceptable items in the can include oil, acids, hot ash, paint, hazardous materials, etc. Your container will be tagged informing you if this is an issue.
  • Help us keep trash collection safe. Please keep children away from the garbage trucks while in service.
  • Residents are responsible for lost, stolen or damaged containers. The replacement cost is up to $75 per can.
  • If damage to the can is determined not to be the fault of the customer, no fee will be assessed.

Green Waste

Timpanogos Special Service District (TSSD) green waste/compost will re-open March 4, 2020. TSSD is selling compost by appointment only until March 4.

TSSD is located in Utah County at 6400 N. 5050 West. This is near, but not in, American Fork. Take Exit 275 from I-15. Drive west approximately 1/2 mile. After you cross the railroad tracks their facility is on the left.

Hours are: Wednesday – Friday 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

 

 

Recycling Program

Ace Disposal offers Eagle Mountain residents a curbside recycling program.

The recycling can is full-sized and is billed at the rate of $5 monthly, compared to the rate of $6.25 for a second regular can. The recycling can may be used for all recyclable materials except glass (please see link below, or watch this video for information on acceptable materials).

The recycling can is picked up on a bi-weekly schedule on your regular garbage pick-up day.
