Update – April 17, 2019

New Traffic Pattern on Redwood Road – Begins Tonight

Beginning tonight at 9 p.m., northbound lanes on Redwood Road will shift between 400 North and Pioneer Crossing. This new traffic pattern will remain in place for up to three weeks. Drivers should watch for signage and follow traffic control devices.

Paving on Redwood Road – Next Week

On Monday, April 22, crews will begin paving the west side of Redwood Road between Lake View Terrace Road and Village Parkway. These operations will last for approximately three weeks. Flaggers will be stationed in the project area. Drivers should plan extra travel time and be prepared to stop to allow large construction vehicles to move in and out of the work zone.

Side Streets

Bliss Drive

Tomorrow, April 18, crews will be doing utility work at the Redwood Road and Bliss Drive intersection. Steel plates will be placed on the road temporarily while crews finish this work. Drivers should expect uneven road and loose gravel at this intersection.

Stillwater Drive

As soon as Wednesday, April 24, crews will pave Redwood Road near Stillwater Drive. During these activities, Stillwater Drive will be temporarily closed for a few hours. Drivers can use Fairway Boulevard as a detour. See map below for more details.

Construction Updates

Maverik Business Access

The south access to Maverik onto Redwood Road is closed while crews complete concrete work. This closure may last until next Wednesday, April 24, to allow the concrete time to cure and for completion of asphalt work. During the closure, patrons can access Maverik from the north and west side entrances via Ring Road.

Parkway Boulevard – Traffic Signal

Construction is underway for a new traffic signal at the intersection of Parkway Boulevard and Redwood Road. This signal is expected to be operational before school starts fall 2019.
