UPDATE 6/24 – This work has been rescheduled due to weather affecting the contractor’s schedule on another project. Please see revised map and schedule below. No parking is allowed on these streets on date of work.
Eagle Mountain City’s streets department has scheduled a contractor for a micro surfacing treatment on several roads throughout the city from July 1 to July 11. No parking is allowed on these streets on scheduled work date. Dates are subject to change due to weather or contractor’s schedule. Updates will be provided as warranted.
On roads where there will be full closures, work will not commence prior to 8 a.m. For partial closures, work may commence by 7 a.m. Newly treated pavement will not be open until approximately 9 p.m. to allow sufficient time to set. Please make plans for alternate parking and routes prior to the scheduled work day. Residents whose homes are located on affected streets will also receive a door notice.
The micro surfacing treatment is a preventative measure used to extend the life of the asphalt.
Any questions or concerns should be directed to the streets office at 801-789-6684 or 801-789-6677.
