Eagle Mountain City is in the Yellow Phase of COVID-19 response. City offices are open to the public regular hours (7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday). The Senior Center will remain closed until further notice. Masks are required while visiting city buildings. If you do not have one, we can provide one for you. Social distancing measures are in place. We encourage business to continue to be conducted online or by phone as much as possible. Department Contact List

Holiday and Other Events

Eagle Mountain City hosts events during most major holidays including an Easter Egg Hunt for Easter, and End of Summer Dance, Halloween Town, Thanksgiving Turkey Trot, and a Christmas Village. These and a number of other events include many activities, great food, and ways for you to contribute. Every event can be improved with the help of volunteers. Eagle Mountain City greatly appreciates the work of volunteers to help alleviate the burden of organizing and operating these events. If you are interested in volunteering at any of our events, please use the form at right to apply.

Miss Eagle Mountain

The Miss Eagle Mountain Scholarship Pageant and Eagle Mountain’s Outstanding Teen & Miss Pageant was held on Saturday, March 16, 2019. Miss Eagle Mountain 2019 was selected from 16 candidates. She is Roxanna Mortensen, 1st attendant Justice Reda, 2nd attendant Shalia Rokobuludrau. Miss Eagle Mountain’s Outstanding Teen is Rachel Mortensen, 1st attendant Mollie Eaton, 2nd attendant McKenna Mrozla. Little Miss is Gabbie Bingham.

The Woman of the Year award was presented at the Miss Eagle Mountain Pageant. It was awarded to Lindsay Bills, owner of local Eagle Mountain business The Little Dress Up Shop.

Miss Eagle Mountain is a franchise of the Miss America Pageant. The Miss America Organization is one of the largest providers of scholarships to women in the world. Each year the organization offers millions in scholarships to its participants. Miss Eagle Mountain currently receives $2,000 and her 1st attendant receives $400 and her 2nd attendant receives $200. That does not include prizes. The Miss Eagle Mountain pageant strives to change lives and influence young women in our community. Our tradition for the past decade is empowering young women to achieve their personal and professional goals. We do this while providing a forum in which to express their opinions and talent. Our goals include helping young women pay for college and prepare for a career. We also provide an opportunity to gain additional life experience, working on issues of importance to society, enhancing ones personal and professional skills and developing performance-related and other talents.


Movie in the Park

Movie in the park is held at the Silverlake Amphitheater during the Summer.  Enjoy free popcorn and the company of fellow Eagle Mountain residents as you watch a popular movie.  Bring lawn chairs and blankets and have fun under the stars.  Dates for this event will be Friday, June 12 and Friday, July 10 from 9-10:30 p.m.

Holiday Decoration Displays Map

Like to decorate your home for the holidays? Eagle Mountain City has created a holiday display map for anyone who would like to post the location of your display so others in the community can come by and check it out.

This map will be available from the Halloween Season through New Year’s Day. Instructions on how to post the location and add details are included on the map. If you are interested in visiting the displays, you may use the map link to find all the fun spots.
