General Plan/Development Code Amendment (Initiates modifications to either (1) the City's General Plan map, including future land uses and future major roadways, or (2) the City's Development Code) - Presented to both Planning Commission and City Council
Rezone (Initiates changes of zoning & land use) - Presented to both Planning Commission & City Council
Request to Resubmit a Rezone or MDP - Presented to the City Council, to initiate a request to reconsider an application for a Rezone or MDP within one year of an application being denied
Master Development Plan (Initiates proposing a large, master plan within the city; effectively serves to rezone land) - Presented to both Planning Commission & City Council
Concept Plan (This optional application (required for master development plans)allows for the city staff and Planning Commission to provide the applicant with valuable feedback, without any formal approval/denial.) - Presented to Planning Commission ONLY
Preliminary Plat(Initiates the first step to subdividing of property into buildable lots) - Presented to both Planning Commission and City Council
Final Plat (Initiates the final, detailed approvals of a subdivision of property) - Presented to the Development Review Committee (DRC)
Master Site Plan (Required for all commercial/industrial/institutional developments that are over 5 acres in size or to be developed in phases) - Presented to both Planning Commission and City Council
Site Plan (Required for all commercial/industrial/institutional developments) - Presented to both Planning Commission and City Council
Conditional Use Permit (Required for some specific land uses where the underlying zoning requires that the specific land use can only be allowed conditionally) - Typically presented to Planning Commission ONLY
