The Neighborhood Improvement Division helps residents improve the appearance of neighborhoods, helps neighbors resolve disputes concerning City Code, and coordinates with various City departments to ensure that limited resources are utilized in the highest priority neighborhoods. Our goal is to help residents to take responsibility for solving issues and concerns in their neighborhood, while offering any assistance that we can give.
Eagle Mountain City has adopted Codes and Ordinances to provide for the health, safety, and welfare of its citizens. Each homeowner is responsible for keeping their property clean. The Neighborhood Improvement Coordinator / Code Enforcement Officer visits neighborhoods daily to ensure that residences are being kept in compliance, in an effort to improve neighborhood well-being. For an overview of common questions please consult our Community Standards Guide and Fencing Guidelines.
The Neighborhood Improvement Division is responsible for enforcing most codes and ordinances, however there are some that our Sheriff's Department handles. For any nuisance complaints such as barking dogs, loose animals, smells, random noise, etc. please contact the Sheriff's Department dispatch at 801-794-3970.
For any other types of issues, please check the City Code to see if it is a violation.
