Redwood Road Construction - Updated July 16, 2018
Update - July 13, 2018
Stillwater Drive Full Closure and Fairway Boulevard Traffic Changes
Crews are reconstructing Stillwater Drive and Fairway Boulevard intersections. Drivers should obey speed limits and drive cautiously through the designated detour (see map below). To minimize delays during the school year, the following closures and traffic changes will be in place.
- Stillwater Drive full closure: Stillwater Drive is closed between Redwood Road and Summerhill Drive from July 9 to August 6. There will be no access to and from Redwood Road at this intersection.
- Fairway Boulevard (west leg) traffic changes: The south side of Fairway Boulevard is closed between Redwood Road and Maverick Road until late July. Access to and from Redwood Road will be maintained using the north side of Fairway Boulevard.
- Fairway Boulevard (east leg) traffic changes: Beginning next week, the south side of Fairway Boulevard will be closed at Redwood Road for up to 21 days. Access to and from Redwood Road will be maintained using the north side of Fairway Boulevard.
Drivers should plan extra travel time due to heavy delays.
Public Open House
Geneva Rock is the contractor for the next phase of this project. An open house was held on July 12 for the public to meet the contractor representatives and learn more about construction on Redwood Road. To view the materials shown at the open house, visit the project website: udot.utah.gov/redwoodsaratoga.
Ongoing Work for Phase I
Through fall 2018, crews will continue to work on utilities and landscaping between Pioneer Crossing and Centennial Boulevard. Shoulder closures and periodic lane closures will occur until this phase is complete. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and nights and weekends as needed.
