Snow Plowing High-Risk Areas - Parking Enforcement

Post Date:03/01/2018 1:53 PM

With a potentially significant snow storm predicted over the next couple of days, we would like residents to be aware of areas in the city that have been identified as hazardous for plow drivers when vehicles are parked on the street. Enforcement of the snow parking restrictions will focus mainly on these identified areas due to the scope of city streets and limited manpower. Additionally, residents should not expect roads to be plowed from curb-to-curb due to time and expense. We ask for everyone’s help and cooperation with keeping vehicles off streets during snow periods to prevent safety hazards in our neighborhoods and allow for adequate plowing.

Issues with parked vehicles can be reported to Neighborhood Improvement. After hours and weekends/holidays, parked vehicles causing a hazard can be reported to the sheriff’s office dispatch at 801-794-3970.
