Pony Express Widening Project - Updated August 17, 2018
Updated August 17, 2018
As students return to school August 20, please use caution as crews continue to work in the area. Parking on the south side of the road is now prohibited and the speed limit is temporarily reduced to 25 mph.
With traffic switched to the south side of the road, crews will begin excavating and removing the asphalt to widen the road to the north from 800 West to Porter's Crossing.
Crews area scheduled to remove the power lines between Mt. Saratoga Road and Porter's Crossing. Once the poles are removed, crews will bury the power lines. Water and storm drain installation will continue. The new signal at the intersection of Silverlake Parkway and Pony Express Parkway will be installed in September.
Please use caution as crews operating large construction equipment are entering and exiting the road. Travel delays are minimal. If you have any questions, please contact the project hotline at 877-495-4240 or via email at ponyexpressimprovements@gma
