Chamber of Commerce Luncheon

Guest Speaker Senator Jake Anderegg

The Eagle Mountain City Chamber of Commerce will hold their luncheon at City Hall in the Eagle Mountain City Council Chamber. The guest speakers will be Utah State House Senator Jake Anderegg and Representative Jefferson Moss.

As a junior at Brigham Young University, Jake Anderegg joined with two other students to form MindWire Interactive, an Internet development and interactive brand management firm. This startup company won multiple contests and was eventually sold to the Silicon Valley firm Avalon Digital Marketing Systems, Inc. After graduating from college, Jake sold commercial property, casualty and liability insurance. In response to the real estate boom, he created his own real estate construction, development, and investment companies, earning his real estate and mortgage licenses in the process. Jake also worked as a Sales Director for WindChill Engineering and then as the Western Regional Director for Triad Airflow by NxGen, LLC. Currently, Jake works as a Premier Wealth Management Insurance Consultant for Zions Bank. Jake started his public service in 2002 when he ran as a delegate in his local precinct for the Republican Party. He has served as a County and State delegate multiple times and as the Precinct Chair and Vice Chair over the last 12 years. In 2010 he worked as a volunteer on the Mike Lee for Senate Campaign and was hired shortly thereafter as the Northern Utah Director for US Senator Mike Lee. In 2012 the Utah State House District 6 Legislative seat was open without an incumbent and Jake decided to put his name in the running for the Utah State Legislature in 2013. He won and served as a Representative in the Utah State House of Representative till 2017, and now has held his Senate seat for District 13 since Jan 2017.

Jeff Moss has been involved in launching a number of businesses in a variety of industries. He co-founded a manufacturing company that was ranked as one of the fastest growing companies in Utah for several years in a row. He has also worked as Venture Analyst at USTAR and a Portfolio Consultant at vSpring. In addition, Jeff has worked at Credit Suisse in their Private Bank and at Key Private Bank. He is currently the Chief Operating Officer of the Utah Valley University Foundation. In addition, he currently serves in the Utah House of Representatives for District 2. He earned both a BA and MBA at Brigham Young University and was a member of Cougar Capital.
